Hi there. 

My name is Ashley. I am an artist and educator. I live with my husband and our two daughters in St. Louis, MO. I am lucky enough to earn a living teaching high school art courses to amazing young women. In my free time I love to paint, make pottery, garden, and enjoy meals and good music with my loved ones.

I grew up next door to a library where my love story with books began. Decades later, the art form of children's book illustration still grips me. There is such beauty in composition, color, and character. But what enamors me most is the venue: the age-old ritual of sharing stories before bed, and the precious audience listening to each word, ready to turn the pages. In my art, I aim to make work that might sit on family shelves, bring connection, and inspire the already rich landscape of a child's imagination.
